Popular Program Entering Fourteenth Year

The Asia Travel Program helps schools increase their visibility in Asia by providing direct access to families and educational professionals. Entering its fourteenth year, this successful program has built an extensive network of knowledgeable professionals whose collective experience identifies markets with the greatest potential. Participants in the program will receive comprehensive packets of information and resources including electronic fair invitations (PDF format), suggested in-country contacts, country information, and detailed packing and planning lists. Fair logistics are managed by TABS Director of Operations, Steve Banks, who travels with the group to oversee the events in each city. In addition, participants find that traveling with colleagues from other schools offers support, camaraderie, and provides a unique opportunity for collaboration.

Flight Itinerary
The TABS flight itinerary is available for you to download. We find that many participants prefer traveling together while in Asia. Please use this itinerary as a reference when making your flight reservations through either your travel agent or ours.

Ground Transportation (Airport to Hotel and back)
We encourage you to make your ground transportation arrangements through Tim Morrison at Just Vacations. It is recommended that you reserve hotel cars for the following cities: Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai, and Bangkok. In Hong Kong, cabs, trains and hotel cars are all safe and reliable, though the hotel cars are typically more expensive.

Using the bus service in Tokyo and Seoul is highly recommended because of their convenience and affordability.

IIE Hong Kong Fair

Hong Kong Hotel Reservations
TABS does not operate the Hong Kong Fair, therefore hotel reservations must be made by you rather than our agent. The Conrad Hotel Hong Kong has provided a reservation form for your use. Please download the form, complete it and fax it to the specified number.

For more information, visit IIE Hong Kong Fair.
